Di established Horsey Jameson Bird in 1987 and is a well-known public speaker for many years being Channel 10's on-air financial adviser. As HJB's Registered Tax Agent, Di focuses on client tax solutions.
She is huge believer in giving back formerly a member of the Immigration Review Board and a judge for various awards including Queensland Businesswoman of the Year. Di is passionate about music and is a great supporter of the Arts.
Di plays an active part as a board member for the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra (MSO) currently as Co-Deputy Chair also chairing the MSO’s Finance Committee. Di joined the MSO Board in April 2018.
On 14 September 2023 Di received an OAM from Her Excellency, The Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM the 27th Governor of Queensland at Government House.
